How to Use and Care for Washable Nursing Pads
Using washable nursing pads is simple, natural, and comfortable for every mom. Depending on the pad type and your milk flow, changing frequency varies: every 6 hours for Slim pads, every 9 hours for Day pads, and up to 12 hours for Night pads. Of course, you can change them anytime you feel the need, especially after a let-down or according to your breastfeeding rhythm.
For lasting absorbency and perfect hygiene, proper care is key. We recommend machine washing after each use and washing at 140°F (60°C) at least once a week to eliminate bacteria. You can wash them along with your baby’s clothes.
Drying can be done in open air in a ventilated space, or in the dryer for extra convenience.
